Logistics Information
VISA
All foreign citizens wishing to travel to Kenya will need an evisa, except citizens from countries who are exempt. (Please visit: http://evisa.go.ke/eligibility.html for a list of exempted countries).
While single-entry visas are currently still available upon arrival at Kenyan airports, Kenya Immigration plans to end visas upon arrival soon. Therefore, all conference delegates requiring a visa are strongly encouraged to apply online through the e-visa process. (Please visit: http://evisa.go.ke/evisa.html )
Delegates of the following African countries require a referred visa before arriving in Kenya. Referred visas cannot be obtained online or upon arrival at the airport but must be acquired in advance through a Kenyan Embassy. Citizens of the following countries require referred visals Cameroon, Eritrea, Libya, Mali, Senegal, Somalia.
YELLOW FEVER VACCINATION

All visitors to the Republic of Kenya should be in possession of a valid health certificate for yellow fever vaccination To avoid unnecessary delays, we recommend that everyone carry with them their Yellow Fever Card as proof of having received the yellow fever vaccination.
SECURITY
Although the area in which Strathmore Law School is located is generally safe, we do not advise that guests leave their respective hotels and the conference venue unaccompanied, especially after dark. Visitors should take all necessary precautionary measures related to personal security and safety, keeping aware of their surroundings and the inherent risks, and adopting appropriate precautionary personal behaviours.
